Mrs.Kelly's Bee 1.1

    During the first week of Genius Hour, I mostly just got a good feel of what exactly I wanted to do and how I wanted to accomplish that goal. My first step was to get the approval from my mom because if I just went into her classroom one day and started drawing on her wall, she would probably not be very pleased with me. I called her right after we got out of school that day because I was really anxious to see if she thought it would be a good idea, or if I was just completely nuts. Fortunately she is just as crazy as me so she was totally fine with it! My next step was to look into the four questions that we were provided with. I quickly realized I was going to need to watch some YouTube videos to help me out with the drawing skills, since I was not blessed with my mother's artistic ability. I have watched a few videos so far and practiced a little on trying to draw some basic things.

    For this next week, I would really like to get going on this project and get a good start. I struggle a bit with procrastination, so it will be helpful to have my mom asking when I will get stuff done. I am going to head into her school this week and figure out where she would like me to paint the bee. Then, I will start working on making a final drawing for the wall!
