Mrs. Kelly's Busy Bee 1.3
What's buzzin my busy bees? This week has definitely gone off of my original plan of where I wanted to be and what I wanted to accomplish. I have missed quite a bit of school lately so, I'm behind in most of my classes. The weekends are the only time I have to work on genius hour and this weekend I was working, so I had no time. But, I did have to run to the store, so while I was there, I looked over in the paint section to see what was there. I quickly realized that I was going to have to do a little research on the best kind of paint to use. I'm guessing regular acrylic paint might not work.
My plan for the following week is to get into my mom's classroom this weekend and get some stuff figured out. I will get a final drawing done and figure out which paint to use. Next week, we won't have school on Thursday or Friday, so I hope to get some painting done. Good luck this week!
This is Justin btw! This sounds like an amazing project! The question I have is how will you plan on drawing the bees on the wall? Will you use a projector or free hand it all?

ReplyDeleteVery cool. I would recommend that you use acrylics, but you may need to use a primer possibly. That might help if the paint doesn't stick as well.
ReplyDeleteThis is Grace! I think this will be a very good and meaningful addition to your mother's classroom! Did you have to talk to the principal there and make sure it was okay to paint on the wall? Very excited.
