Blog 2.1

    Hey guys! I hope you all had a great first week! The first week of genius hour for me was a total flop. I was so excited to get started and start my first project and then my father informed me that he was leaving town. So all this week when I should have been working on my projects with him, he was gone. I definitely know now that I should not rely 100% on others to help me, or I will get absolutely nothing done. I have no experience with woodworking so when my dad left, I had no idea where to start or what to do. He is still gone and won't be coming back until Sunday so I have formed a new plan.

     Like I mentioned in my last blog, my mom has a stool that came from her grandpa's house. He made it, but never got around to finish it. It needs to be sanded and stained, so this weekend I am going to go to the store and get all the supplies I need to accomplish that. My mom is going to be home this weekend so I will probably have her help me with it. I think I'm going to do it in the garage and it's going to be mega cold, so I will definitely need a space heater.
